When we first set out to create Privacy, our mission was to build elegant software to protect consumers’ personal and financial information when they shop online. Fast forward three years, and our core product has gone through many facelifts. A major part of that process has involved directly hearing back from our users through emails, phone calls and social media.

We received a lot of requests especially from people who wanted access to special features, including higher spending limits, more virtual cards, and dedicated account management. So with those suggestions in mind, our team kept busy this year developing new tiers of use to cater to the unique spending needs of our users — from the everyday, conscientious shopper, looking to spend more securely online, to businesses trying to budget their expenses.

The highlight of 2019 has been the launch of our “Pro,” “Teams”  and “Issuing” subscription plans, and we're very excited to share the news with you.

If you’re a long time user of Privacy (thank you!), no sweat. We’ve grandfathered in the accounts of our early supporters. For new users: our “Personal” plan now includes 12 virtual cards per month and access to all of Privacy’s main features, including merchant-locked & single use cards, customizable spending limits, our awesome browser extension and more. But if you need a bit more spending power, here’s a look at what our paid subscription plans offer:

With Pro ($10/month), you get everything in Personal plus:

• 36 cards per month
• Priority support
• 1% Cashback on all your purchases (for the first $4500 spent each month)
• Discreet merchants (hide transaction information)

Running a business? With Teams, you get everything in Pro, plus:

• 60 cards per month
• Dedicated account management
• Transaction limits tailored to your business
• Multi-user support (coming soon!)
• Accounting exports (coming soon!)

With Issuing, you get everything in Teams, plus:

• Card issuing through our developer API for only $.25 per create
• Your first 250 card creates free
